Speakers
Cary Steven Johnson
Project Director: CASE Crime Prevention, 1st District Attorneys Office
Cary assisted with the creation and launching of the “Communities against Senior Exploitation” crime prevention program for the Denver District Attorneys Office in 2002. The program was funded from a Faith-based Grant from the Department of Justice. In 2004 he moved to develop another program for the Denver District Attorneys Office, creating a Victim Care curriculum for usage by graduate theological schools across the county in training clergy and faith-based counselors to be prepared to assist victims of crime and natural disasters.
In April, 2005, he was asked to bring the CASE Crime Prevention program to the 17th (Adams/Broomfield Counties) and 1st (Jefferson/Gilpin Counties) District Attorneys Offices; in 2007 he moved to work exclusively for Jefferson County. He has presented over 500 seminars to service clubs, faith communities, Senior groups, and businesses.
Cary has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from U.C.L.A., a Masters of Divinity Degree from Western Seminary, a Masters in Communication from the University of Denver, and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Studies from Fuller Seminary.
Tamra Hartman
Owner, WestSide Computing
Tamra Hartman is the owner/operator/lead technician for WestSide Computing.
The company specializes in small business and home-based technology support. Founded in 2003, WestSide Computing performs on-site computer repair, service, support and training for other small businesses, primarily in Denver and it’s Colorado suburbs.
Tamra has 13 years full-time experience as a network engineer in computer support. She acquired the Cisco Certified Network Administrator credential in 1999 and several Microsoft Certified Professional designations in 2000 and beyond. WestSide Computing is a member of the Microsoft Partner Program.
George Tyler
President, Colorado Franchise, DataPreserve
George is a serial entrepreneur with about 30 years experience in the high technology world. DataPreserve is the third technology start-up that George has helped start and lead. In addition to start-ups, he has experience with Fortune 100 companies in developing marketing programs, sales channels and partner cultivation.
For the past 7 years, George has been focusing on protecting computer data and how to efficiently store and use invaluable data. As the first and largest franchise for DataPreserve, George and his wife, Marianne, have developed partnerships with IT providers throughout Colorado to provide personalize service to small and medium businesses. During the past 3 years, they have become very active in the community with a focus on helping small business owners grow their businesses in Colorado. George has BA in Physics and a MBA in Marketing.
